Hello,

Another user reported needing to click to Log Off and then back In again to stop them from appearing.

I tried this on my end and it appears to work, however they may have stopped on their own in the process.

Christopher,

The POP UP has not been removed and I suspect you know that. Just while writing this I have been the victim of THREE POPUPS. This is getting to be more than annoying. I strongly suggest that someone at AW deal with this issue and NOW before I jump ship to BAYPAL.COM.

Hi bonsaimark,

That is correct, you may run into them again. Try simply logging out and back in, to see if that corrects it.

We will continue to work on this issue until this is corrected. Again, we are sorry for this inconvenience and certainly hope to have resolution for this issue ASAP.

What a charming way to increase the hit count for this advertiser!

I'll be using NexTag's services real soon!

I wouldn't patronize the any advertiser who
uses pop-up ads. I put them on a par with telemarketers.

Christopher,

I have signed in and out and that doesn't work. This is CRAZY. What in the world is someone thinking at AW???. Just in typing this little bit I got nailed with two more. Why should I stay with a service that knowingly subjects its users to this kind of abuse? And yes KNOWING does this.

Hi bonsaimark,

There is an error causing these popups to malfunction, and we are working quickly to get them turned off.

This is not how they are supposed to work, this is happening completely in error and, as mentioned before, we will continue to address this until we have total resolution.

As soon as we have more information available on this situation, it will be posted back to this thread.

It's still there! I've tried logging in, turning off the computer, etc., but it goes off in the middle of my listing. It even went off while I was writing this. Help.

Well, it's nice to see more ads. I really like AW's service and have been a solid user of this service. I have helped AW to gain at least 75+ users who all do list a lot with your services. This popup ad thing is beyond crazy. I listed one item earlier and had the ad pop up 3 times during one listing! Please get it together. I love the service you have provided in the past, but this is crazy. Does this have anything to do with your new software which has taken away all the listing spaces?? I have asked numerous times when we will get all the listing spaces back only to be ignored. I hope that I eventually get an answer on that question. I paid for a service for a year and I am now not getting what was there when I signed up. If you want to change you prices fine, but at least give me the listing spaces that were provided when I signed up for a paid year contract. My business associates also signed up for paid accounts due to that listing feature.

Hi moncollect,

No, this is not related to the new software (I am assuming you mean the ebay API) that was released. This is related to the one ad that you do keep seeing pop up, and needed to be addressed on their end.

What are you referring to when you say "the listing spaces" - what listing spaces are you referring to? - Please start a new thread, or update the one you already have going for us to address, I am leaving this for the popup issue only.

Christopher, The reason I included the question regarding the images is because I have never received answers from a previous thread. I don't know if anyone has told you this yet or not. The popup ad is appearing when I am any place on AW including the message center.

Hello,

We are still working with the ad company to disable these. In addition, engineering is taking steps right now to block them for now on our own end.

Again, as soon as an update is available, we will post back to this thread.
