Hi Ddeva,
Relisted auction still move from close to open upon successfull relist.
However, note that only 'true' relists do so. If you try to relist an item which is older then 30 days, then on the relist page, you will notice under Availability the word Copy. This means that the item cannot be relisted, so we launch a perfect copy instead. The copy becomes live, while the original should stay in the closed section.

These were "true relists" -- eligible for relists, not over 30 days, in fact just 2 days old . Still confused.

Hi Ddeva,
Sorry, it was my mistake, as I did not understand your problem right from the beginning.
Indeed, closed auctions are deleted from closed panel, if relisted, at the time they are actualy relisted. (they will peacefully coexist in pending and closed until relist).

Mine are true relists (I asked about this in another thread), and they have been launched, btu the old ones are still in closed..they don't appear to be going anywhere. What a pain having to check the dates.

Hello,
Can you provide us with an example where this has happened? We have been unable to replicate a auction available for relist credit at eBay, staying in the closed section once the relist goes active.

i think i understand your problem- you take an auction from closed that did not sell- relist within 30 days within ampro and it stays inthe closed section?
only if if launches right away do i find that it will leave your closed auction panel... i open another www. aw .... screen - and as i check them on screen 1 and do all the relist revisions...i check it on screen 2 and when i have a bunch i delete them from screen 2 so you won't end up listing twice the unique item...(and when you have dozens to do - can get you batty)
about 6-9 months ago, they used to delete automatically once you hit relist and scheduled date/time in future- but it looks like some aw programming change - altered that - can be confusing

HI stacyp,
Actually, there is no 'relist' options from Pro. You have to relist your items via the closed section of your Auction Manager to qualify for relist credit at eBay.

Sure, be happy to. In my closed area, the three auctions that end with
869, 962, 402, are all closed. But, I clicked the little box and told them to relist (yesterday), and they have relisted, but are still in my closed auction list.

Hi Magneticattractions,
Thank you for providing valuable information, which (I hope) now clears the issue of relisting closed items.
The items you were trying to relist, were not relistable, as they have ended with winning bids. As a result, all of them have PSM (post sale management) keys displayed.
Relist is a tipical action on an item which did not sell. If the item did sell, and you want to sell another (identical) item, you may do so, using the same action, this time called relaunch.
It is perfectly normal to keep the original item in the closed section for an item which sold. Sellers need to refer to the sold item for information regarding the winner e-mail.

I am using Auction Manager -- not Pro -- and my relists are valid relists -- not relists of auctions that closed with bids.
I really, really need them to disappear when I schedule a relist (moved to Pending). Otherwise, this is an inventory nightmare.
Not being able to delete Pending Relists is hassle upon hassle. Help!
I know someone made a wish that closed relists would *not* disappear, but I do not agree with that wish. We need a poll .

Thank you..Now I understand. I thought relist and relaunch wee the same thing.
Back to figuring out the store LOL!

Hi ddeva,
Earlier in this thread you asked if it matters if your new items were scheduled, and still in pending - Yes!
If you click to relist an item that did not sell and was not relisted once before, the original will still remain in your closed list until your new item actually goes active.
