For what it's worth (and I have no explanation0:

I used to always use the (now) "old" express WBN. I was getting a response rate (the buyer actually clicking on the link to get to AW) of 45% - 50%. Since having to go to the regular WNB this reponse rate is now virtually ZERO.

I would recommend including text in your Post Sale Management default message instructing the winner to please click on the link to complete the WBN process.
