Please check my PSM for ORDER 522904271. In the page that opens when you select the PSM keys, next to the tax it says in parenthesis "8%".
First of all, in my PSM Options, I instruct my Winner's to enter "08.25" (sales tax went from 8% to 8.25% in CA. as of 1-1-02 and I changed it back then) in the tax field. So why does it say "(8%)" on the PSM page ?
Secondly - the amount they paid ends up being 7.77% !!!!! So, the winner not only saw no instructions as to how much tax to pay, but the internal calculator you have embedded in the software totalled the incorrect 8% at an incorrect 7.77% !!
In another post, I read a seller complaining that the info he had in PSM Options instructing winner's how to fill out the tax field properly was no longer in the WBN. Christopher answered saying it still was. I have the copy of all WBN's sent to me and I looked at it and it does NOT have any of the PSM Options instructions next to the tax field!!!
But even if it did, your software is still calculating the dollar amount of the selected percentages wrong!
Actually, the buyer in this case selected 7.76 manually on their own. The number field is blank, with directions to add (the directions should be appearing now, this was corrected) whatever you have setup to display for the buyer.
In this case, this order number was showing :
"California Residents: Please enter "08.25" in the boxes below and your sales tax will automatically calculated for you and stated in the "Totals" box at the end of this form."
