I HAVE RECENTLY BEEN USING AW INVENTORY SYSTEM. I NOW KNOW THAT WHEN AN ITEM DOES NOT SELL IT THEN GOES BACK INTO INVENTORY NUMBERS AVAILABLE. BUT I HAVE A QUESTION. WHEN I RELIST FROM INVENTORY (NOT FROM CLOSED AUCTION AREA WITHIN AW) AM I STILL GIVEN A CREDIT FOR THE FIRST LISTING WITHIN EBAY? OR SHOULD I DO INVENTORY ITEMS RELISTING FROM THE CLOSED AUCTIONS AREA OF AW. I WANT TO MAKE SURE WHICH METHOD I WILL GET MY FIRST LISTING CREDIT WHEN ITEM SELLS A SECOND TIME AROUND...THANK YOU!
The relist operation is associated with unsold items (closed without a winner, or reserve price not met). On the other hand, from inventory you have no action called Relist (the action is called Launch in inventory pages).
Given the above, the answer is obvious: in order to get a listing fee refund if the item sells the second time around, you must relist it from closed panel.

OK I RELIST INVENTORY ITEMS FROM CLOSED AUCTIONS AREA...FINE..NOW WHEN I DO THAT DOES AW TAKE ITEM OUT OF INVENTORY AGAIN TO CORRECTLY REFLECT MY REMAINING INVENTORY? OR DO I MANUALLY ADJUST....
When an item doesn't sell it goes back to your inventory. If you relist it it will be taken out of inventory again, so you do not have to manually adjust your inventory.
