Hi Ewora,

What happens when you try to upload the images? Try clearing your cache, or uploading smaller groups of images. If you are still having trouble please let me know the file size for your image.

I cleared my cache last night and the pictures are the same size they always are. About 40 - 70k. Twice I've been able to upload one picture...which doesn't always work. When I try and upload more than one it won't take it. I've about 100 pictures to upload and I could be here all day doing one at a time. I'm on a cable modem. It really shouldn't take as long as it's taking.

Hi Ewora,

I recommend rebooting your computer and then trying to upload again. If you have another browser on your computer, try using that too. If these suggestions do not work, trying Pro to upload your images. You don't have to list with the program, but you can upload a bunch of images at the same time. If you still have the same problems let me know.

Hi Sonya,

I'm receiving this error message when I try to upload:

"Synchronization failed - Bad response from server
There is a problem with images synchronization.
Please go to www.AuctionWatch.com and check your images."

Any suggestions? Also, thanks for "locking"
those stupid threads on the Ebay board.

Hello,

There is an image that Pro is currently trying to upload that is keeping the rest for being able to synch correctly. You will need to go in and manually remove this image from your images folder in the AuctionWatch directory.
Try to synch with no batches open, click the details button and watch to see which image it is getting stuck on.
When you know which one it is, go to your 'C' drive, open the 'Program Files' folder and open the 'AuctionWatch folder within that.
You should then see a images folder, open it and manually highlight the image and press your delete key.
When you are done you will need to upload this image directly at the Image Hosting tab online, then synch the rest of your images normally. This file is either over the size limit, or just too big for Pro to upload for you.

Let us know if you have any questions.

I uploaded the images directly to Auctionwatch and then syncronized. The images were not too large, around 40kb each. Very strange. Thanks.

I just tried to upload another image through Pro and it did not work. For some reason it is not letting me upload new images, when I sync, for some reason. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hello,

Try to synch, hit the details button and let us know what it says. It should list the error it is running into in the details box.

Hi msru! Yes, earlier today I got the same error message. I rebooted and that solved the problem - at least for now. Good luck!

Hi,

First, go double click on your My Computer icon.
Go to your 'C' drive, open the 'Program Files' folder and open the 'AuctionWatch folder within that.
You should then see a images folder now - open it and manually highlight the image ('Life1215721.jpg') and press your delete key.

Then, open Pro back up and try to synch.

Hi Christopher,

I deleted the image from the folder and the sync completed. However,
I fear that the next time I try to upload pics from a batch that the same thing will happen. I recently upgraded to this version of Pro and thats when I started to have sync problems. I'll try another sync tomorrow and see what happens. Thank you.

I uninstalled Version 4.0 and reinstalled version 3.75. I then tried to sync, and it still is not working. For some reason, Pro is not uploading any images. Any suggestions?

Hi Msru,

Does it get stuck on that same image or on a different one? Is the error in Details the same, or different from the last time?

Hi Sonya,

It is getting stuck on different images. I am able to upload directly to Auctionwatch from my image hosting page however. So there is something wrong with Pro. Also, the error message in the details remains the same.

Hello,

Why did you uninstall 4.0, when after you deleted that problem image you were able to synch without an error?

You have since updated files on your setup that 4.0 wants to use, uninstall the 3.75 and download another copy of the 4.0 to use.

Also, you mention the error message saying the same, but the error is happening on different images? Are you saying that when you get the error, you go delete that one image, then synch again, and it gets caught on the next one?

Yes, it is getting stuck on different images.
Here's what I did:
-I uninstalled Pro and took all the images out of the images folder, and then downloaded a new Version 4.0.
-I then synced, and it downloaded all the images from AW to my images folder. So,
everything is synced now...

However, when I try to create a new auction listing, it will then get "stuck" because Pro will not upload the new images for the listing. I'll try to create a new listing now and see what happens....

I just created a new listing/batch and tried to upload. And the same thing happened, it will not upload the new image that I attach to the auction listing. For some reason, it will download images from AW but it simply will not upload new images from Pro.

So I closed the batch and tried to simply sync with Auctionwatch. The same thing happned with the same error message. Look at the last 6 lines of the details below.
Any idea why Pro won't upload images?

Again,here is the error message:

Hello,

Then, when you go in and manually remove piggy.jpg and try to upload, it gets caught up on the next image as well?

If so, let me know and we can escalate this to someone from engineering to check into further with you.

Christopher,

I deleted the 'piggy.jpg' image and everything synced fine. The piggy image was the only 'new' image I've added. It seems like that any new image that I've added in the past 3 or 4 days will not upload.

Christopher/Sonya,

Is what I'm saying making sense? What I'm trying to say is that I have 50+ images on Auctionwatch, and these same images are on my harddrive in the images folder. This is how it is syncing without any errors. All of these images have been uploaded with Pro.
However, in the past 3 or so days, I cannot upload any NEW images with Pro. When I try to sync or upload a new batch or image it gives me the error messages that I posted earlier. Am I making any sense?

Hello,

Yes, I understand what you are saying. Can you create a test item to upload, that contains no images that are not already online and see if you can synch?

Schedule it to be listed at a later date, so you can unschedule it and delete it once uploaded.

We want to see first if you can synch/upload data by itself, then work on the image issue.

Hello,

Ok, good, we know you can at least synch then. Now, let's try a test image.

Right-click on this image, save it to your hard drive and then add it to Pro. When done, see if you can synch and upload it into your account.

Christopher,

I took the file, and saved it as a .jpg, and added it to Pro. (Pro wouldn't take a .gif). I then tried to sync- same result, same error message.

I just created a new Ebay listing and tried to upload. It didn't upload the images. So..
I uploaded them manually through Auctionwatch. Then I went back to upload the batch and everything was ok.

I don't know why your having so much trouble trying to upload your images. We sent a note on to someone in engineering to take a look into this and get back to us.
