Hello Sonya,
I called eBay and spoke to Amy in billing. She gave me som every bad news. She said that eBay can not assist me with cancelling my auctions, singly or in bulk. She said that I must end each auction individually and that I must send eBay a list of every auction # in order to get my insertion fee refunded. I told her that it was humanly impossible to end over 600 auctions individually. She asked me why AuctionWatch couldn't end my auctions for me. I told her that when I posted my problem your response was that I would need to end the auctions in eBay. Is that true??? Can the auctions be closed in bulk throught Auctionwatch. If that is possible maybe I could cut and paste the closed auctions and e-mail it to eBay and get a refund. If not I will be faced with paying the full price for listing all the duplicate auctions. Please advise and help me.
Jim

Hi Jim,

Unfortunately, there isn't a way for us to end an auction that has already been launched to eBay. Once auctions are live, they have to be ended on the auction site. Is it possible for you to tell them that it is all the auctions on your seller's list from a certain day up to today?

Regarding the duplicates problem, I've escalated it to engineering and they are taking a look at it.

Regards,

Sonya

eBay will/can not assist me end the auctions in bulk. They insist that I must end them 1 by 1. I estimate that it will take me 1 minute to end each auction. To end 740 auctions will take me 12 hours. I would then need to send eBay an e-mail with all the auction #'s. They will not end all the auctions that were begun on that day. As a result there it will be impossible for me to get any of the listing fees credited. i checked my eBay account, my balance before these auctions were begun was $319.31, my balance now is $629.91. This will have cost me $310.60. Will I be able to receive a credit from Auction watch for $310.60 plus the amount that Auctionwatch has charged me listing all these auction, as well as the duplicate auction that were listed before i left on my vacation August 30. I am too exhausted to try to figure out my eBay charge for the August 30 duplicates. Will AuctionWatch help me with a credit or refund or am I stuck? Also , I want to lodge a complaint about this whole situation. Is there a Federal or State agency that deals with internet matters. I would like to send them a detailed letter and make an official complaint. Any help with this would also be appreciated. Thank you.
Jim Finch
