I need to edit an auction from AW's "pending" before it goes out. I forgot to alter the time box to 5 days, and said in description ends on Tuesday.
I copied the auction, but cannot re-submit it. I can't get it to come up with an edit button. HelP!! I've only got about 20 mins. Two have already gone up with the wrong "days" already, before I caught this last one.

Thanks.

Hello,

Click on the title of the listing first, then use the 'undo launch' button to unschedule it.

You can make your changes and resubmit after your changes are in place.

Thanks Christopher.
That's what I did in the first place.
But after I did that, it wouldn't come up in the "create listing" mode, only as a preview of its ebay page, and with no icon to "edit" it.

Now that its past its original scheduling time, it does what I wanted it to in the first place! i.e., I'm now getting a page I can edit again; but I couldn't get this before the original scheduled listing time, even after I cancelled the launch.

I'll just have to edit it through ebay, and add a rambling explanation in my description I suppose.

I've "cancelled launch" on previous occasions, and lost the whole *%! thing forever. That's why I made copies this time. Could that be why it didn't come up? Although the copies are coming up now also as I wanted them too.

Can't you (AW) just put an actual button that says edit there, so we all know where we stand? Cancel has done just that, at times..not too user-friendly if you ask me.

Hi Uglimouse,

If you cancelled the launch, all you should have needed to do was click on the title of the auction in pending and it would come up in edit mode. If it didn't that means somehow it was not cancelled. The next time this happens, try cancelling it before making any copies and let me know.

Regards,

Sonya
