Have been using AW for two years very happily. This week have not been able to upload photo's or auctions. Tried doing them individually and got two up and then that shut down also with the only response given being this page can not be displayed. If syncing the response is Sync failed - Bad response from Server. I'm out of business, totally. We sent WinMTR stats, they said that is not it and have deleted and redone photo's that has not worked. It is weird that it took some and not the others and then allowed us to upload two seperatly and then quit again. Help if you can, we need to get back in business or switch to another company.
Thanks

Hello,

Are you able to upload any of your images online rather than using Sales Manager Pro? Try doing that, through the Image Hosting tab. If you are having trouble with that then you might want to try contacting your ISP or if you have different access numbers, use one of those. What kind of connection do you have, dial up or cable?

Regards,

Sonya

No at this point no. After the sync didn't work AW suggested that we try that and it worked for two photo's and then at that point it stopped taking them up and each additional time it would begin and then we would get this page is not available. We tried canceling and deleteing all the photo's redoing them as AW offered but that did not change anything. We also cleared our cache, and several other suggestions they made.

Hi Sonya,
Also we have cable internet, which seems to be working fine with all other sites.

Hello,

Did you try contacting your ISP yet? Since the bulk of our site traffic is presently fine then this is likely isolated to your
system or your ISP.

This type of problem can also be caused by your modem being physically too close to another computing unit. Placing the modem far away may help the problem.

A way to verify this type of problem is to do full length packet pings:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
C:\>ping -l 1472 -n 100 -f www.auctionwatch.com

Pinging www.auctionwatch.com [66.7.130.14] with 1472 bytes of data:

Reply from 66.7.130.14: bytes=1472 time=20ms TTL=61
Reply from 66.7.130.14: bytes=1472 time=20ms TTL=61
Reply from 66.7.130.14: bytes=1472 time=20ms TTL=61
Reply from 66.7.130.14: bytes=1472 time=20ms TTL=61
------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the above example we show that we can send packets of 1472 bytes long
(1473 bytes will be too large and will require fragmenting, which is
inhibited when using the -f option).

Please try running the above step for a while to see if using longer packet
lengths impact the ping time. If it does, try reducing the -l size from 1472 to around 50. If ping time improves, that indicates some issues with your modem through to your ISP.

Regards,

Sonya
