This one's a 1st for me. I tried to correct my gallery image in a couple of auctions. I used the following URL http://imagehost.auctionwatch.com/bin/viewimage.x/00000000/karalun/pantypink7.jpg.The image didn't take and the first email I got back from ebay said "Your image is in a format we cannot process:
http://imagehost.auctionwatch.com/bin/viewimage.x/00000000/karalun/rugshuttle.jpg
Convert the image into a jpeg and repost to your web site.
I tried again later and got the following message from ebay.

"The problem is:
The host in your url could not be found.
http://imagehost.auctionwatch.http://imagehost.auctionwatch.com/bin/viewimage.x/00000000/karalun/pantypink7.jpg
Check your image URL to make sure that it is correct.
Any ideas what's going on? I need to fix the gallery image and have never had this problem before.

You have duplicated part of the URL
http://imagehost.auctionwatch.http://imagehost.auctionwatch.com/
You can't have two http's the basic format is incorrect. I believe when you cut and pasted you left some of the original URL which is how you ended up with two prefixes.

The URL I cut and pasted from AuctionWatch is this
http://imagehost.auctionwatch.com/bin/viewimage.x/00000000/karalun/pantypinkthumb.JPG. It should be OK.

The duplication shows in what I copied from Ebay's email response - I tried again and got this email "Your image is in a format we cannot process:
http://imagehost.auctionwatch.com/bin/viewimage.x/00000000/karalun/pantypinkthumb.JPG
Convert the image into a jpeg and repost to your web site." I've had 2 different email responses from EBAY when I try to fix it. One telling me the format is wrong and the other telling me they don't recognize the URL. Something must be wrong either at EBAY or AW.

Hi Karalun,

You are not using the correct URL, that is why eBay is returning error. Here is the appropriate URL:

http://imagehost.auctionwatch.com/bin/imageserver.x/00000000/karalun/pantypinkthumb.JPG

You can copy and paste that into the gallery form.

Regards,

Sonya
