I have been having trouble getting auto relist to work properly. I make relist changes to my indivdual auctions on the last day after I decide to relist or not relist an individual auction. I will turn relist on or off for a particular auction and the relist icon in the "Active" listing will properly be there, or not, based on my changes. Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't. Am I missing somthing here? I go to the relist screen, set the auctions for relist and set the number of relist times to 1 or 2, save it and go back to the active screen and all shows properly. I've read the FAQs on relist and it is my understanding that if the relist icon is showing on the auction then it will be relisted. Each week I do this and each week I have a number of auctions that don't get relisted.
What do you have the relist set at for those that don't seem to relist properly? If you have some item examples, please provide the ID numbers and let us know what you have done regarding relist settings.

When I set relist I do a select all on the relist page and set the number of relists to 1 or 2, then press the submit button. When I return to the Active Listing pag they have the relist icon next to the auction. I didn't keep track of which auctions I di it to this week. For my auctions ending this Sunday, I will keep track of exactly which I select and what I do and post them back to this thread with the results.

Last night I had all my auctions showing relist, but a number did not relist. Here are the listing IDs of 2 auctions that showed the relist icon when active but did not relist; 3612673729 and 3227990398.
Our records indicate that item 3612673729 had been deleted from the Sales Manager tab, and reimported. Unfortunately, the automatic relist settings are lost when items are deleted or imported into the Sales Manager tab.
That would explain why those particular items did not pick up any global changes you made to the auto-relist settings on that batch of active items.

I don't follow what you are telling me. I didn't keep exact records on what I do for each auction but I don't delete and import auctions. As far as I remember this auction had been auto relisted the week before. I remember this because normally all my auctions start at 11 PST and this was one of a group that had delayed relisting because of the Sunday night eBay API problems. It either had relisting set from the week before or I reset the relisting for this and the others in the group.
Regardless of this, these auctions had the relist icon set in the active listings before they ended. I checked and made sure of this before the auctions ended. How can these auction have the relist icon showing and not be relisted and how can I know for certain the relist status of the auction if the icons are not correct? Am I the only person whose auctions are not relisting properly?

Hello magazineframes,
Let me clarify something, that might be causing the confusion.
The auto-relist icon will appear next to the active auction the last time it is relisted automatically. This means that even though the item is on it's last auto-relist cycle, you will see the icon until the item goes to closed.
If you want to check the status of your active items, you can click the "Active" link in the lefthand navigation bar. Once in the active section, you can "Select All" (button at the bottom of list) and click the "Set Auto-relist" button. This will display the auto-relist counter for each item. I notice quite a few of the items on page 2 of your list are on their last relist, so you might want to check these and reset the counter.

Thanks, I finally get it. A suggestion though; it would be more natural for the relist icon to show up on the active page only if there are future relists scheduled. No icon would mean no relists schduled. That seems to be the logical way to display it and the way that I interpreted it before. You also would not have to go to another page to see what is scheduled for relist and what isn't.
I just wanted to follow up on this - we have changed the behavior of the system so that the auto-relist icon will not appear next to the active item if there are no more relists scheduled.
