Hi. I saw in a post recently that the new Templates post 3 pictures, then the remainder at the bottom.
I believe it was Sonya that offered to email a member the HTML 'fix' to enter into the description. I post all my pictures to the right and I'd like to keep it that way.
Any help would be appreciated!
THANKS!

Hi:
Could you also please forward me the HTML to get those pictures in a straight line down the side of the auction page. I can only imagine how many buyers never even scroll down to the end of my auction page to view the additional photos. Thanks!

Hello,
I have sent out the image HTML directions to you both. Boogiestreet -- I have resent it to you, since it appears you did not get it the first time.
Keep in mind this HTML inserts images in a straight line, centered.

Sonya

What happened to the VD advetisement that said the new Listing Formats did not require any HTML???? Everyone is using more now than ever before VD changed the Formats. WHY only 3 pictures to any of the listings. The person that created that must not do any listings on EBAY--Unless VD is going to limit all the sellers to only 3 PICS per listing---the wrinting is on the wall.
Also, with all the FREE advertisements at the bottom of all the listings on Ebay---it looks like everything is FREE on Vendio----WRONG.
Just a heads up--when a company FLAUNTS so much free items--a RED light goes off in everyone's brain---THERE IS A CATCH SOMEWHERE.
Vendio really looks redundant with all the listings having FREE at the bottom. Common sense tells everyone- that someone is paying for something.

To a customer service person: Would it be possible to post the html right here on the message board so you don't have to keep emailing people privately?
Quite honestly, I don't know if this html is what I need. I just signed up for the image hosting service ONLY and dislike the images at the very bottom of my listing. (Please see here for example: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2340987304&category=11792&rd=1 )
Please tell me there's a way to insert the images WITHIN MY ITEM DESCRIPTION and preferably on the top or side. Otherwise, I don't think Vendio is going to cut it for me.
If you can help, please email [email protected]
Thanks so much,
Lori

Hi Lori,
Here's the HTML:
<p><center><A href="http://imagehost.vendio.com/bin/viewimage.x/00000000/YOURVENDIOUSERNAME/NAMEOFYOURIMAGE.jpg"><img src="http://imagehost.vendio.com/bin/imageserver.x/00000000/YOURVENDIOUSERNAME/.mids/NAMEOFYOURIMAGE.jpg" ALT="Image Hosting by Vendio" ><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="1"><br>Click to view supersized image</font></A></center><br><br>
Replace the parts in caps with your account name and the name of your image file, respectively. Keep in mind that image file names are case sensitive.
This HTML can be found also by going to Image Hosting, selecting your image and hitting 'attach', then choosing 'generate HTML' from the drop down along with 'new auction'.
If you decide to list through Sales Manager in the future, you will have the ability to use image layouts in conjunction with customizable templates.
Regards,
Sonya

Hello,
New image layouts are now available! There are now 'all images on left' and 'all images on right' templates available. The previous images on left and images on right layouts have been renamed to 3 images on left and 3 images on right, respectively.
If you have any trouble using these layouts, please let us know.
Regards,
Sonya

The All Images to the Right or Left is certainly a big help to those sellers that list more then 3 images, however, when are you going to add "ALL IMAGES On TOP" as an option in the new templates? I prefer for my buyers to see ALL the images the first thing when they open the auction page. I find that most people will view first, then read the auction description and blurb.

100% agreed with ciao346 image left and right so why not on top it take me so much time to do it with HTML !!! THE FIRST THING THAT CUSTOMER LOOK FOR IS THE PICTURE !!! ON MOST COLLECTIBLE ITEMS CUSTOMER DONT EVEN READ THE DISCRIPTION !!!

Count one more vote to add all images on top.
I like the two on top of two layout offered on the older templates.
Makes a nice opening presentation.
Thanks!
