hi there..please can someone kindly tell me how i am supposed to get rid of the paypal credit card little logos that show up in my payment area on the bottom...i still want the payment area but i just want to have it say money order , checks, and paypal(not with the logos because i dont accept credit cards thru paypal)..i recall vendio issued an announcement about how to remove this a few mos. ago ..i just dont happen to remember and i just redid my ads..if i just uncheck the show payments box under global preferences, that removes the whole box and that isnt what i want..i do want just to write the words payal, check and money orders..how can i do this please..
Unfortunately the credit card logos cannot be removed as they're inserted with the PayPal logo when you have that box checked off. If you want it to just say PayPal you could uncheck the PayPal box in Global Preferences and use the Other box and type in PayPal, but if you are using Checkout this will not produce the 'Pay Now' button at the end that takes customers right to PayPal to pay for the item. If you left it as it is, you can always insert some text in your description saying that you do not take credit cards through PayPal.

I must respectfully disagree with you. Although the automatic & manual logo insertions all do either show the credit cards or don't show the credit cards but have text appears that says "Pay me securely with your credit card through Paypal" above the logo & when you hold the mouse over the Paypal icon, there is a way around it. Under "Manually Insert Logo" at Paypal, they provide the HTML for manually inserting several different logos. Just copy the HTML for the "Standard" logo - it doesn't show the credit cards, but does have the 'credit card' blurb. Then simply delete these words wherever they appear within the HTML "with your credit card". Then all they have to do is either manually insert this into each auction text box wherever they want it to show or even in the Custom Listing Text in their Vendio Account area so it is automatically inserted into the end of each auction. Here, I've copied the logo HTML below with the words already removed. Hope this helps!
