I scheduled a listing late Monday eve.for Tuesday eve. launch (after reading VD announcements re: ISP etc.problems.)

I checked the listing and there is a VD gallery image, with the rest of my VD gallery images for previous auctions, but no actual present listing images.

I would accept ( albeit shamedfacedly) that this may be due to "Pilot Error" on my part. i.e. I did ot select "attach"......but on the other hand, if there is a Vendio-Gallery image showing when my listing page is viewed by eager-bidders, but no other images whatsoever, not even with a space and a red X,, does this mean, Oh illustrious tech-monitors of this board, that I omitted that vital step; or that it is all part of the gruesome muddle of *&*ed-up servers etc. plagueing our beloved Vendio of now?

If indeed it is my oversight, I would appreciate a "look-in" by our Powers-That-Be to ebay # 3768132795 with a verdict.
If the error is mine, how can I fix it without inserting the relevant images below the existing text? ( In other words, before the aforementioned "eager bidders" all quit the page in impatient disgust?)

Thanks, uglimouse

Hi Uglimouse,

I checked the auction and it looks like you did not attach the image to the auction during the create listing process. Since you can see your gallery, you probably aren't affected by the ISP issues outlined in other posts since that issue only affects some users. You would need to use the Revise Your Item link on eBay to insert the HTML for your image URL in the area within the listing you want the image to go in.

To get the image URL in your auction, click the Image Hosting button in the lefthand navigation bar, and select the image(s) you want to attach to your listing. Click the "Attach" or "Attach with Counter" button at the bottom of the page. On the next page, select eBay** from the drop-down menu, and click "Other Auction Site" from the drop-down menu, which will produce the HTML code that contains your image links. You would copy/paste this code into the listing revision form on eBay, where you want the image to appear.

Regards,

Sonya
