I have been trying for weeks now to change the paypal link to my new email address, I have changed the email on ebay, vendio and on paypal, I deleted the old email address in all places, I inserted a new paypal logo in my text that is inserted into all of my auctions and changed the address there but it still links when you click on it to my OLD paypal address.....this is causing major problems, any help would be appreciated!

Hello,

Your stored PayPal email address in Vendio is the same as your primary email for Vendio and your eBay email so everything appears to be correct on our side. We have heard from numerous customers who are experiencing a problem with PayPal payments being submitted to the wrong email address despite the email address stored on our site and in eBay preferences being current. We believe that this is the result of a glitch on eBay's side where the wrong email address is stored in your account in an area unrelated to preferences.

Unfortunately, since the problem is with eBay's system, in order to work around it, you will need to go to eBay and launch a 'test' listing. When you create the listing, you will have the opportunity to change the email address stored in step 4 of the listing process. Once you continue past step 4 of the listing process the issue should be eliminated (if it is not, please try again and this time launch the test listing.) You will only need to do this once as long as you update the email address during the create listing process on eBay. **NOTE - this will only correct the issue for new listings. Existing listings will need to be revised individually to remove the incorrect PayPal email address.

If you've never created a listing on eBay, just log in to your eBay account and click the "Sell" link in their menu. This will start the listing creation process.

Regards,

Sonya

Thank you for the info, I did what you said and listed a bogus auction, when I got to step 4 the email was the correct one so I didn't have to change anything but I submitted and hopefully that will fix it.

Hi, I was having the same problem. Not on new listings but on some old ones that I had pulled up out of inventory and relisted. Sure enough an old email address showed up that is no longer in existence and my buyers were sending payment to that address and I couldn't access the funds. So when I tried to add the old address to Paypals addresses it wouldn't work because they send an email to that address with a link that you have to click on. Since the email address was no longer viable I couldn't receive it. The only solution if this happens to anyone is to have your buyer cancel their payment and resubmit to your current address. Then next time you pull up an old auction out of closed or inventory make the change of your Paypal email address manually on that auction. I don't think it will automatically change it on all other auctions but it might. Good luck. Steve
