I realize that since I imported my listing from Amazon, the sales don't register in Vendio. About half of the items I imported from Amazon have yet to be listed on eBay. If I took those imported items from Amazon that haven't been listed on eBay yet and listed them on eBay through Vendio, would Vendio start working with the listings as if I had originally created them in Vendio?

Hello,
That is correct. If you list the items through Vendio then Vendio will work for the post-sale of those items. In regards to your Amazon sales, please be sure that you have followed the instructions in step 3 under "Preferences" --> "Channels" --> "Amazon Market ID".

I have completed step 3. To clarify, Vendio will begin tracking those items on both eBay and Amazon? Also if I have items currently on eBay that are also on Amazon, to get Vendio to work with them I just need to add the correct information from Amazon to those eBay listings and republish them. And then remove the existing listing from Amazon?

Hello,
Vendio will track eBay listings and Amazon items that are listed through Vendio. If you have the same item for both eBay and Amazon, it will need to be listed from the same Vendio inventory item in order for Vendio to track the item correctly.

But are you saying that it will only track it properly from the eBay side and not the Amazon side since the Amazon part of the listing was not initially created in Vendio?

Hello,
As long as you have followed the steps in step 3, and Amazon has confirmed that they have followed through on their end, the Amazon orders should be tracked correctly in your Vendio account.

Amazon confirmed that they have followed through on their end. But only items actually created in Vendio for Amazon will show as sold though, not listing imported from Amazon. Correct?

Hello,
Orders for Amazon items that were imported in Vendio should appear in your Vendio account as long as Amazon has made the changes on their end, and they are orders that were placed after Amazon made that change.

I got a couple orders after Amazon confirmed step 3, however they are not showing up in my Vendio console.

What is one of the items that you are having trouble with, how long ago did Amazon confirm that the change was made, and how long ago was the order placed?

I'm not sure what info you need for the Amazon orders. Sku or? The orders were placed today 1 at Apr 30, 2010 12:06:44 PM PDT, the other, Apr 30, 2010 1:04:16 AM PDT. As for the Amazon's confirmation of step 3, Here is part of the e-mail I got @Wed 4/28/2010 11:32 AM PDT "The reports will be generated every day starting from 04/29/2010 23:58:21" Does this mean that I will only get one report a day @11:58PM? Or does Amazon send them out several times throughout the day?

Hello,
Please note that Amazon works differently from eBay. Orders are not sent immediately. While it usually takes a few hours or so, please allow at least a day for the orders to begin appearing in your Vendio account, and let us know should you continue to have trouble after that time.

Hello,
I see that you have deactivated the Vendio Platform service. Unfortunately, with the service deactivated it is difficult to look into why the orders are not showing in your account (as the Vendio Platform service would need to be active for the orders to be imported).
