I was wondering if those of you who accept PayDirect for your Ebay auctions have started using the PayDirect logo in your auctions at all.
I've been saying in my Ebay auctions that I accept PAyDirect, but so far no Ebayers have taken me up on it. I would like to use the banner in my listings but am totally chicken about it!!! I almost put one in the auction I just listed but at the last minute I decided I probably shouldn't, that my auction might get cancelled or something. I know people successfully use PAyPAl logos all the time but a banner with a big loud "Yahoo" on it seems to be asking for trouble. Has anyone out there tried it? If so what happened?

A touchy subject with ebay. I don't know if you can use the word Yahoo! in there, and I don't know if your link takes people to Yahoo! If it does, that's not legal. I've seen people turned in for using AW's x.com page.
Does PayDirect have a different site than Yahoo? If so, perhaps you can do a 10 word link, going by ebay's guidelines.

The only logo I've seen offered by Yahoo's PayDirect is the one in the auction tools. Is this one:
they clearly need something more than that.
If your proposing using this:
That might give eBay heartburn, but someone has to report you first.

Using the banner would be a DIRECT violation of ebaY rules and get you suspended. ebaY has a restriction that ANY logo/link to such a service be no larger than 88X33 pixels. Follow that rule and you can use a link - don't follow the rule and you can get suspended. You can use a text link but it has to be no more than 10 words and font size 3. Here is the link to the rules -
