I've got a buyer who is not respoding to my e-mails. She e-mailed me intially asking to get out of the auction because she shouldn't be spending this money. This is a $925.00 auction with NO other bidders! I'm furious. I kindly told her that her 'buyers remorse' would fade when she received the items and she realized what a great buy she'd gotten. No response. I requested her mailing info so I could figure shipping....no response. I IM'ed her a few times...no response. What can I do?? What recourse do I have? I looked into her bidding history and since Aug. 29th, she's bid on FIVE pages of items! Her ID has no feedback and those 'sunglasses' indicating she's changed her user ID. SIGH! Can I find out what her previous ID's were?? HELP!

Thanks, Lisa

There's not much you can do other than what you have done. After 30 days, file a "deadbeat", neg if you feel responsible to, get back your fvf, and relist it. Part of life.

Click on the sunglasses. If she had an earlier ID, it will show that. She could just be a newbie who got button happy. If she bid on lots of auctions and doesn't come through she will be narued pretty soon anyway.

You should just write her off and relist. You really can't make her take it. All you can do is leave appropriate FB.

FVF is short for Final Value Fee. You need to file a NPB alert and you can collect 10 days later on your fee. I wouldn't wait--she's a deadbeat. I'd also contact other sellers who have her as winning an auction. She's defintely heading for getting kicked off eBay if she is doing this elsewhere.

After you get your fee I would leave a negative.

ANd take heart.... you can get your eBay fees back, you can re-list it, and eBay karma being what it is, I wouldn't be surprised if you got more for it the second time around anyway!! Of course that doesn't ALWAYS happen but it does happen a lot in my experience.

The items where I have bidders that are deadbeats and give me the most headaches, when I re-list the item, those items seem to always do better the second time around! Recently had to neg a guy and file for my FVF on a $25 bid (some fabric). Re-listed it and sold it for $50 to a *good* bidder who *paid* on time!

Good luck to you.
