I have two problems . #1 - Paid for item, was told they will ship item , never received .
Contacted seller again and again was told item will be shiped. Still no item received.
#2 - Paid for item, was told item shiped.never received. Contacted seller again and again told item will be shiped . Finally received item and the item was not the same as promised. Actually not even close. The 1st auction was for two signed hockey pucks , which i still never received . The 2nd was for a signed hockey jersey w/name and numbers
on the jersey . The one i received was a plain jersey no number or name , only signed.
The first jersey was "lost in the mail" as the seller states but yet i still did not get
what i really won . Any ideas what i can do about either problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated . Thanks in advance .

cauker...what time frames are involved and were the packages insured? If it's over 30 days on the first one and it was insured, then a claim may be filed with USPS. If there was no insurance, then you need to get back to the seller.
On the 2nd item, the seller would be responsible to take the item back and send you what you actually won or negotiate a refund.
I understand (and I could be wrong), that the sports memorabilia category has some unsavory sellers. At least one has been prosecuted that I know of. In either or both cases, you may have to file a claim with eBay, but there is a $25 deductible on each auction.

njrazd , I contacted the seller about the jersey being insured and he seemed to just ignore that and then asked me what to do . I suggested he get a "real" jersey w/out the signature and i would even drive to his location and swap "one for one" but after that email i never got another reply . As to the hockey pucks , i don't think it was insured . After contacting this seller three, four or five times he stated he would
send the pucks ASAP. The funny part here is that the other week i got an email from his business about a big sale . Confused? WHY would i buy something from his e-store if i still have not gotten what i paid for before?
Up until these two auctions i have never had any problems and then "WHAM" two in a row .

In my little town in Ohio, a mother and her two sons were arrested for selling $25,000 worth of sports equipment on Ebay, but there was no sports equipment. Great scam while it lasted I guess. Of course, mom says she had no idea what her teenage sons were doing. Right, I thought so!
