Anyone else having this problem? I mean more than usual?

I've got 8 slow payer/no payer auctions right now which is way more than usual for me. Each of these auctions ended between 8-23 and 8-29. Quite a week, eh? Anything to that? I think I'll take the second half af August off next year.

I'm a little miffed since these 8 auctions total up to 238.00!

I am curious as to what you sell. Deadbeats seem to inhabit certain areas; slow paying is partly a summer hangover.

I list a short payment deadline even though I loosely enforce it and I also mention eBay NPB. The tighter the deadline, the less likely you will have problems. People who want to jerk you around will go elsewhere.

Frankly, have not had the problem...since I QUIT listing on Ebay.. Well...am waiting a bit longer till that stupid address/phone No. on EOA thingy quiets down...

Sorry to hear about your problems tho, L.C.! Seems there are indeed, a lote of complaints lately...

Ebay will never die...but it sure has opened the flood gates to trouble with a CAPITAL 'T'...

mballai, it has been my personal experience (only), that the 2 NPB I have had was when I had tighter time limitations.
As to the "Summer hang-over", I am not convinced of this. There was not such a vast amount of problems 2 years ago and before.. This year is particularly bad!....I promise you, I am not picking your views apart Ask L.C....I am a good guy...; just stating my personal experiences...

mballai

A variety of things.

On these auctions it's a men's Stetson hat, a fountain pen, musical equipment and vacuum tubes (the kind that go into old radios). I guess it's not category related this time.

I normally have only two or three no payers every 6 months.

Hi Shosh! You don't list on ebay any longer?
