Hi: I would like to talk about something besides PayPal. It should be related to eBay, just not PayPal.
Name your topic, no crybabies allowed.

The Paypal fiasco is obviously of concern to many people (I don't remember the last time one thread received 200+ posts in less than 12 hours). Obviously it's of no interest to you.
There are numerous threads on this board. Everybdoy's free to start a new one. So....
If you have something interesting to YOU to discuss, why not just start a thread about it, rather than criticizing the people you ostensibly hope to engage in conversation?

We could talk about DOGS or RATS, but at this point I feel I would still be talking about the one thing you don't want to talk about.

The temperature is getting much cooler in my little area of the world, though. Which is a welcome relief.
Well, THAT'S attractive!

KATHYG- I agree! I really don't have any topics at this time, but I agree the Paypal thing is getting OLD! This will make me very unpopular, but... If you like it, use it, if you don't, don't! Who said life was fair.
Sorry, didn't mean to make this into another Paypal thread!

HCG: It was not my intention to criticize anyone. Geez! Chill out.
In fact, my dog caught a rat just last fall and deposited at my feet on the kitchen floor.
lorndav: Thank you for your support.

So the subject of this thread is now "let's talk about how boring it is that other people want to talk about Paypal"?

HCQ, thanks to PayPal, I am now learning to read between the lines, the focus in on what is 'unsaid'. So, I figured that's what this post was about to begin with.

No. this thread is not about PayPal at all. I guess I was just nostalgic for the good old days. Never mind.

HCQ: These abrasive play my way or not at all posts are really old and boring.
And would you, please, lose the caps and italics, the last these irritating posts need are emphasis.

How bout another gripe?
I just got done getting stuff ready to mail. Does anybody else have a big fight with that dern Priority tape? I waste so much because it's hard to cut and sticks to itself.
Growl! I'm serious is there some kind of a secret to using this tape?

chococake: I feel your pain. Go to Staples or Office Depot & get one of those large tape dispensers with handles for taping packages. Tape becomes easy to apply, and a cinch to release on the thingie's serrated edge.

I have had the same problem with some cheap packing tape I bought. I have finally started using a little better tape. It is more expensive but well worth it. Now...if you get you priority tape free, I guess it doesn't matter if you loose a little extra. They make it up on what they charge for postage! Do you use it on a tape gun?

chococake,
Ah, at last! Something someone can do something about...
Had the same problem w/the stuff..bought one of those box tape dispensers (WalMart for a couple of bucks) that are primarily used for sealing boxes...works nicely.
edited to add:
Ooops, bunnicula beat me to the advice...see great minds think alike.

I've got the roll on one of those tape gun thingies. I have tried every way of putting the tape on it. It either sticks to the gun or won't cut.
What is the box dispenser? Is that something different?

chococake:
I once taped my hair to a box.
Ouch!!! I have had it cut shorter since then.
Much safer for all concerned.
I waste more priority tape getting it stuck in the wrong place, I think I will get a dispenser.

Nope, same thing. It's just not the easiest tape in the world with which to work.

tegan;
Ouch for sure. Just ask my cat. Once she jumped up on the table as I was taping. Stuck to her tail, at least it wasn't her whiskers. She would have really been mad about that.

I find a tape gun essential when dealing with Priority Mail Tape. But it does take practice.

What I hate most is the noise that the tape gun makes. Do they make a silent one? It isn't so bad when I use it but it really grates on my nerves when my husband is using it and the noise is irritating day after day, one parcel after another.

shaani,
Earmuffs, perhaps?
It IS a bit like fingernails on a chalkboard. I've just gotten where I don't notice it anymore...about like hearing the 400th Back Street Boy CD on my daughter's stereo.
