Just got home to find an email from Billpoint waiting in my in-box. Seems they are lowering their fees. Hmmm. Starting on October 1. The very day PayPal is slated to have it's extra fee kick in. What a coinky-dink! It will be interesting to see how this price war develops and just how long Billpoint is prepared to beat PayPal in this.

BillPoint has several rates, and is sending several different rate sheets out to eBay users. One (the lowest rate) claims to better PayPal's business rate.

my guess is billpoint is perpard and has the means to hold out as long as it takes I dont see it comeing down to being free but I can see it comeing to flat fee no % for all transactions.
not only that it could come down to a war that is even better for us free listings wars again
any how from the looks of it paypal has pretty much changed there mind on the oct1 deal they are now saying there poilcy is in the makeing and wont take effect untill two weeks after all are informed what this new policy will be.
me my prices are to low and my paypal transactions to few to even worry come oct 1 I will not be signed up for no business account they can either accept my lowly $10 or $20 sale through there service or not I dont give two hoots I dont mind waiting for check and have other ways to take CC payments.
