I signed up for payplace a couple of days ago. They are free and have a link/banner that you can copy into your action listing. You also get 5.00 to sign on... Reminds me of something...... What are other former paypal folks using?

I tried to sign up, but they wouldn't verify any of my credit cards with their automatic verify of street address, so too bad for them. I don't have time to research why it wouldn't verify with my bank.
I use yahoo paydirect.

I've been offering Payplace as a payment option for several months, and just had my first customer use it.
Unfortunately, I have 2 ID's and 2 email addresses, and he sent it to the wrong one.
I contacted Payplace and found out that they only allow one email address per account, and one account per person.
So, I had to contact the buyer and have him cancel the payment and send it again to the correct address.
Also, although they do offer $5 referral bonuses, they no longer offer sign up bonuses (which is unfortunate since their sign up bonus used to be $10.)
Also, as a side note, I would recommend avoiding Payme.com. It takes weeks to "beam" payments, and when I paid using funds in my account, they debited my account, AND my credit card. Inquiries went unanswered, so I had to file for a chargeback.

I have had good success with payplace, exchangepath (which has $5 referral and $10 sign up), achex (works with check account), moneyzap (except that they didnt send me an email that a payment had been made. I had to find out myself). Moneyzap will also being charging $2 a transaction at some point.
Ecount works well but they are bigger liars than paypal. Their site says free but they charge $1 on the payment and $1 on the withdrawal.
Payme charged me immediately and held on to my money for two months, telling my seller that I was being investigated for fraud. They charged my buyer immediately and a month later were still telling me that he was being investigated for fraud. I had to do a charge back to get their attention.

I signed up for Exchange path early this week. I jumped through all the hoops required for receiving the sign up bonus, including receiving a payment and referring a new member. However, I have yet to receive my sign up bonus, and my multiple email inquiries have gone unanswered.
Thanks, but unless its a toll-free number, I refuse to spend my money on it, just on principle.
I finally did get a reponse to my three emails, though. It was a canned response that explained the conditions for earning the bonus, even though the whole point of my initial email was that I was aware of the conditions and had met them all.
I just don't get it. Who knows how much they are spending on "customer aquisition," but once a customer signs up, they don't get what they are promised and their customer service is non-existant.
They can cram their $10 bonus up their "Exchangepath" as far as I'm concerned.
