I have an auction going right now on Ebay. I received and email from someone who wants to know how much I will take for the item. The item is being auctioned non-reserve winner take all. I don't feel comfortable discussing what I would take for the piece because that will obviously be deterrmined by the bidders. How should I respond. Thanks David.

Don't answer before the auction closes. Usually these folks want to work a side deal and have you close the auction early, because they think they can get a better deal that way.
Ignore the query, and let the auction run its course.

Don't end the auction if you have bids on it.
Not fair to those folks who have bid already.
I had something similar happen to me where someone would give me 65.00 to end it early. It was as 7.50 then with 2 bids.
Told him I could not do that to the other bidders. Turns out it ended at 125.00, and the guy who originally emailed me was the winning bidder! But he had to pay double to get it!

It must the week for "wheeland deal" before end of auction... I have a lamp on with 150+ hits. Received an Email asking me to end my auction and sell the Art Glass Shade only, at a GOOD price
