It's not entirely down for me on the Gulf Coast of Texas. I can do a search--but when I click on an item to view it--I get the old "The page cannot be displayed" message. Very frustrating!

I went to search and was able to bring up Royal Bayreuth. Then went to "My About Me" page, and was able to access my listing.

Yep, down here, too. I can do a search, but I can't list and I can't get my seller's list to come up. I guess they are so busy tweeking the system to squeeze a few more quarters out of us with new whistles and bells that they are making it unstable in the process. I've had trouble every night this week.

This is a first for me, I've never had an auction end when the site was down. What does ebay do when that happens? Do I get credits...do I get to relist...do they extend the auction???

Some seller just lost about $100 on an auction I had been watching for 10 days. Bid was at $20. I tried to place a bid for $112 and eBay wouldn't take it. Next thing I noticed was a 'Our site is unavailable and we are working on it' message. Auction was due to end in 5 minutes, so it's history now.

WHEW! I just got in under the wire. My Dutch auction closed just before it went down and I was able to get my e-mails off to the winners. It went down just after my last e-mail. I would be really pissed if I had an auction closing now. My condolences to anybody in this situation.

OH POOOOOH!
What time did they start getting twitchy?
I had auctions going off at 19:07, I was doing other things and didn't go in to look till about 19:11, everything was DOWN.
I can't get in to see what happen or nothing...GRRRRR!
This seems to always happen to me and my auctions without fail.
This is frustrating to say the least!

Crashed and burned in the Fingerlakes of NY. Was looking at someones items - started with having to have to reload three or four times to get page to open - and then it was GONE. Got a page that said site temp unavailable due to SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE! Ahh, I see - if the site crashes we just call it scheduled maintenance - it is just a double super secret schedule that no one knows about - not even ebaY - ROFLOL! -Rosalinda

East Coast Here! Down Down Down!!

I have several auctions closing...some of which just closed!! So much for those last minute bidders!
Again we have lost money!!
E-Bay should pay us for listing on their site!!! We are the ones who are left frustrated! Why do I spend all those hours preparing auctions, and pay them to list them, if they can't stop lining their pockets with the money! Why don't they spend some of those billions on getting the system protected from such problems!! It would not be difficult..a back-up system is all it takes!
That would not take billions to fix!
They would still have plenty left over for their trips around the world and their limos.
