Can't get in to post FB, either, although I see my FB number went up. Seems like a lot of hit and miss stuff going on over there.

seller search, check seller's other auctions and the list of auctions in my Ebay - all have been down for me all night. It is sooo frustrating.

I've got a 600.00 auction that closes in about 57 minutes. Sure would like to get another bid or two on it.

I picked this week to put on related auctions!!! Doesn't matter how related they are if people can't get to them!

I think this is a case of them assing so many %^#$@ Xmas lights the tree has fallen over. And they keep on adding them as the tree is plumetting to the ground. The best way to avoid outages is to diligently read the announcement board and when eBay trumpets a new feature coming online, you can be assured it will crash in the next 24 hours.

And they want to be on t.v. too? I just finished this month's ebay magazine. I can honestly say I will NOT renew. I was so ticked off about not being able to even view my auctions, I flipped through the pages really quick. It's funny how they haven't published any letters from outraged customers about lost auction time. They did, however, have this pretty little suck-up article about PayPal...but that's another story!!

Okay, for those who can't get into your seller search but need a fix (bid junkies like me ). You can use the search engines on the Australian and apparently the UK sites.

The Australian search engine is at:
http://pages.ebay.com.au/search/items/search.html

this just worked to pull up my selling list, and it should help those who are wanting to watch auctions finish.

Good Luck, Kevin

I also note from the announcement board that Ebay is going down at midnight tonight. There is no mention of auction extensions, so it looks like they are adhering to their woeful extension policy despite knowing in advance that the site will be inaccessable and that there will be NO access to auctions finishing at that time. Given the nature of sniping on Ebay, this is totally unsatisfactory - those with auctions finishing in that time can only hope that the site stays down for MORE than 2 hours so that auctions will be extended, instead of costing all snipe bidders that won't read the announcement board until they can't access the site. THEN you have to hope that since they gave 5 hours warning that the smarmy b******S don't then call it a "scheduled" outage like they have before - you can NOT plan your auction finishing times around an outage that is "scheduled" less than 10 days in advance.

The reason you can not access your auctions which just closed (with no bids because of eBusted's continual crashes) is because they don't want you to request a refund. If you can't get to your auction to see how it closed, then you can't see how it ended, and can't even relist, let alone let your winning bidder know the closing information. I've had to go back through my email for listing confirmations just to access my auctions. It is taking so long to list and relist on eBay because of all their new options, hoops and ladders, it takes hours just to list a few items. It just isn't worth it any more. Thursday is eBay's big stock analyst meeting and third quarter profits release. Everyone should go to eBay's stock message boards on Yahoo and elsewhere and let the stockholders know that the we users are not happy with the current situation. I had two high dollar auctions end today with pitiful bids. Thanks loads morons!!!
