Hi. My husband needs a spread sheet program that will translate between Lotus 123 and Microsoft Excel. Is there a free download on the internet or another source that anyone knows about? Thanks!

I think EXCEL can directly READ Lotus files
and then you just fix whatever got messed up.

Try this: Open EXCEL, and try to open a COPY of the LOTUS file. It might work a whole lot better than expected.

mommoo:

EXCEL will open Lotus 123 spreadsheets. You may lose some formatting, but all the data will be there. Just go File/Open and then scroll down under "Files of type:" to "Lotus 123".

You can also "Save as" a Lotus File.

Hope this helps...
