I have recently paid for two auctions with Billpoint immediately after the auctions ended. I have yet to hear a word from the first seller--and that auction ended Oct. 15th.--no EOA--no nuthin'. I've emailed him/her but no reply.
The second auction ended yesterday and I paid immediately with Billpoint. Later that day I got an EOA from the seller with instructions on how to pay. I emailed her back and told her I had paid via Billpoint--she emailed back and said she had not received any notice from Billpoint--but had checked her account and my payment was in there.
On both occasions I got an email from Billpoint confirming my payment and saying they had contacted the seller.
Are any of the sellers here having trouble being contacted that payment has been made via Billpoint?

In the 3 Billpoint payment I've received since Thursday, I was notified of the payment on only one. One of the ones I never received notification on is even already in my bank account. This is the first time I've seen this happen. I make it a part of my daily routine to check my Billpoint and Paypal accounts twice daily, just to make sure I didn't miss anything.
Remember folks, computers, including emails don't always work correctly!

This was earlier this week. I think they have fixed the problem, as I am receiving all notifications now, but I recommend double-checking to be sure...

Why would a bidder pay before getting an EOA from the seller? Wouldn't be better to hear from the seller to know that they are clear you won?
I mean send an email first but I wouldn't pay first.
