Hi, does anyone know if a person can get another seller ID on ebay? I have some items that I'd like to sell under a different ID...and keep my old one as well.
Am I dreaming?

Thanks! Very cool. Do you know will my feedback follow me whichever user ID I use?
And also, if someone clicks "see seller's other auctions", will the ones from my second ID show up?

Sure! Ebay has no problem with it as long as you don't do anything naughty with them such as shill bidding. The problem is it will start from 0 feedback again.

OOPS, posted at the same time.
They will be totally separate. No connection between the two. You might say in your description that you also sell under the name XXXXX, to let bidders know you have some feedback, but if you do that, I don't see why you would want a separate one.
Edited to add: I have two IDs, one for buying and one for selling. I use a different email address for each. I don't know if you can use the same email for two IDs or not.

I asked eBay this once, because I wanted to sell some adult items, and didn't want people searching "cute little teddy bears" (not really what I sell) to click on my seller's list and see "whips'n'chains!"
The response from eBay was that it was ok as long as the items were different in nature.
You have to use another email address though I believe you may use the same credit card info.

I created a second seller id some time ago which I don't use anymore...and I emailed eBay prior to doing so to ask if it was ok, and they told me that was no problem at all.

Thanks everyone! So I will try it, and see what I can do with zero feedback. (my feedback is great, but I want to sell some adult items)... stuff I wouldn't want my mom to see, you know?
