The most you'll have to pay is $2.75.
Examples:
If there are three widgets in the Dutch auction and you bid $2.75, bidder B bids $3.00, bidder C bids $8.00, and bidder D bids $1.00, that would leave you plus bidders B and C as the winners, and you'd all pay $2.75 each.
If you bid $2.75, bidder B bid $2.00, bidder C bid $2.50, and bidder D bid $5.00, you plus bidders C and D would be the winners, and you'd all pay $2.50 each.

You can't pay more than you bid.
You want to check the Bid History occasionally to keep an eye on the number of items/number of bidders, to make sure your $2.75 still qualifies you to be one of the winning bidders.
