Just so you know, one day Amazon.con's Auction+Zshop+MarketPlace will be bigger than EBAY, so you guys better swich some of your listings to Amazon, that way, you won't be left out when the time comes. Amazon RULES. (TRY MARKETPLACE)

I'd go to Gold's, Boxlot, etc. before ever going to Amazon again. What a waste of time and energy trying to list over there! The only decent feature they have is the 10¢ listings - which still isn't anything wonderful since nothing sells.

There are two different animals on Amazon now: auctions [dead as a doornail] and Marketplace, which is humming right along for me. But I see Marketplace as a competitor for half.com, not ebay. And, in fact, this week so far I've sold as much on half as on Amazon.
It's just great to have another venue, with another clientele to see our stuff. Unfortunately, it's still new, and I just know many of those buyers have no idea how long it will take for book-rate stuff to reach them over the holidays.

I list at Golds, every once in a while, because its free.
Why in the world would I list at Amazon and actually pay for less page hits and no sales than I get at Gold's?
JMO and experience with Amazon. If anyone else is doing okay there, then that is great but its my dime. I'd rather give it to my little boy, at least he can buy a fruit roll-up at school with it.

i am not a defender of amazon, although i did sell an item there immediately after having no bids on ebay. i checked out gold's at the suggestion of several on this board and did not see one bid on any item!!!! free or not that does not yet appear to be a viable alternative.
