Alright...I don't understand the a bunch of stuff...Need some info, please...
I (bidder A) was bidding on an item. Immediately after placing my bid, another bidder (bidder B) placed hers/his, but I was still ahead. I noticed that bidder B had just won a pair of this item, just a few minutes before placing bid on this current auction. I know for sure, because I had my eyes on that pair, but did not bid; but I noticed who the winner was because of her/his high feedback.
Today, I received an outbid notice from Ebay. I check the auction and see a third bidder, (bidderC) is now ahead. I check the bidding history, to see how far behind bidder B is: his/her name is no longer there, yet there is NO bid cancellation or retraction. I go back to the other (ended) auction and I see that both bidder B who won it, and bidder Cwho just outbid me, were bidding on that ended auction.
My question: How could bidder B's name disappear from the current auction with NO bid retraction?
Can person bidding with multiple ID make a name disappear from bid retraction list?
Thanks...
Hope I am making sense...

It is no big deal..I just am so curious that a bidder's name disappear, with no retraction...
