A buyer bid on one of my items this morning and I just looked at it again and * POOF *!! No more bid on it! I checked it out and it was cancelled, with a reason of "Administrative Cancellation". My bidder is now NARU, but her feedback is good: low but no negs...

Any ideas as to what could have happened to my buyer? Maybe incorrect contact info? What else could it be?

Whatever it was, you're better off with the cancellation than without it.

Like getting old, the alternative is even worse.

eBay does NARU accounts with fictitous contact info, but only when someone complains. No one complains when such an account is used to buy when the transactions are completed successfully. The complaints come when the account is used disruptively.

be happy, it could have been a fraudulent buyer with a stolen credit card.

Several reasons come to mind:

1. She also sells, and didn't pay her Ebay bill.

2. She had three NPB's against her, but none of the sellers left negative feedback.

3. She was reported for invalid contact info.

4. She committed some other suspendable violation that isn't reflected in her feedback.

We had one too - bummed at first but then decided we liked it. Mine was suspended but it didn't say why.
