I just looked at my X.com account.
They took a $50 service fee for a PAYPAL transaction that had been cancelled less than 5 minutes after it was initiated.
When trying to make a mass exodus(like everone else) to get my money out of my checking account,I put the wrong amount it.I put in the amount that was listed as my balance.
In the interim-PAYPAL had screwed up my checking transfer by not taking money out of my account I requested(I listed a NEW checking).Instead they removed from my X.com account.
I will be banking with a REAL bricks and mortar bank with good online service.I signed up with CITI and have not heard any complaints like the X.com/Paypal fiascos...
So-since tomorrow is X.com's last day-it's probably to late to get your money out without being charged $12.00 for a service fee.
I'm sure Uncle Sam will look into these guys from improper procedures all the way around.
