Now that buy it now has been out for a while, how has it been doing? Have they worked the bugs out of it yet. Anyone having problems?

One of my bidders tried to use it, but was unable to, so he placed a regular bid instead. Otherwise, I am pleased with it. I have been using it with great success on relists and with less rare items.
It's kind of fun to wake up and check your listings and see that magic green color and Ended next to the item. IMHO

Now here's the catch, it has to be used Before the auction has any bids. If it already has a bid, that won't work. You set your own BIN price when you set up your auction.
gemstonecafe I used it for the first time last week on one auction, just on a trial basis. It was used by a buyer on the second day of a ten day auction. Everything else went fine, it stopped the auction, sent out the ebay EOA notices, no problem.

How do I put the "Buy it Now" button in my listing AFTER I have used the AWPro to put my auctions up? I looked all over eBay and it's probably right in front of my nose....I found the instructions on how to use it if I use eBay's picture/auction hosting service, but not if I have already have put the auction up using AW. (and yes I know that this can only be used if there aren't any bids yet)

Chatbrat : you "revise" your auction before you get a first bid. About two thirds down the screen you will find the option to list a BIN price.
BIN is working very well for me! I am only sorry it will be yet another fee after the New Year. : - (

There are a few "buglets" I've picked up from reading the boards at eBay:
- Closed buy-it-now auctions only move to the Closed section when the original auction timeframe expires, not when they actually get closed by the BIN.
- There was a mention that feedback can't be left until the original auction timeframe expires.
- Some bidders who didn't have a credit card registered thought they were actually paying for the item when they were in actuality just registering their credit card. And, they were apparently supposed to be taken through the BIN process after registering their card, but weren't. They updated the tutorial about that.
- There's no way to "cancel/undo" a BIN - once it's been purchased, the auction ends, even if it was purchased by someone whom the seller would ordinarily have canceled the bid (like a bidder whose feedback is in the negative).
The first 3 things above are going to be fixed; I'm not sure if there's a way to resolve the "negative feedback BINner who won" situation.
A couple of things people have discovered, that I don't believe were documented:
- If there are bids on a BIN and they are retracted (or cancelled, I think), the BIN option is reinstated.
- The price of a BIN can be adjusted after the auction has already started.
Because this is a "trial period," I'm not sure if they will be keeping the 2 things above. Personally, I think that sellers should be able to add BIN to an auction, but I don't think they should be able to change the price of a BIN.

Well, I had an auction end because of BIN adn I was thrileld. Then the next day the buyer was NARU'd by ebay. The auction stayed closed. That stinks.
