I recently came upon an auction for the same item that I had sold two weeks ago. The funny thing was, the seller used my description... (copy and paste job, I'm sure).
It was almost funny, but quite flattering at the same time that someone liked what I wrote. Has anyone else found other sellers taking their text description of items for bid?

Send them a bill for copywriting - Say $50 for the page of description, and a link to the auction they stole it from.

Ebay treats this the same as if they were using your images without your permission.
Sure, it is flattering... but you took the time to write the description. The other seller is a lazy thief.
If they are reported to safe harbor, they will be warned to stop. If they keep doing this and reported again, eBay may kick them off.

I had a seller with over 980 fb use my pictures on his auction. I found it last night but his auction had just ended. I wrote him a short email stating that I was glad his auction ended with a bidder and next time please take your own pictures. I didn't get a reply, today when I look at his auction again, my pix were gone. I guess if your a power seller and you have so many auctions to list it is easier and cuts down on time just to steal someone elses pix.
Sorry for the short rant...

He takes Paypal so I should have just sent him a request for $50.00 as abacaxi mentioned!
