Greetings earthlings
I was just checking feedbacks on some buyers and noticed one of the item numbers was a ten digit number for an auction that ended last month. I know its coming but isn't it a little early? I saw this once before but blew it off, now I'm curious, anybody know what's up with that? the number was 100000xxxx (last digits omitted for compliance!

10 digit numbers appear to be assigned to items in specific catagories...I've seen them in "Weird Stuff" and some "sports" stuff...

I'm glad you brought that up.
A week ag0 I launched a bunch of auctions with mister lister and 2 of them were assigned those 10 digit numbers. They were listed in the "glass, pottery" catagory. I didn't notice it till 3 days had gone by and I was looking at my "personal photo gallery" and those 2 items were not there. Upon investigation I discovered they had the 10 digit numbers.
2 e-mails to e-bay as to why they were not showing up in "gallery search" brought no response from them.
I canceled the auctions and relisted. I got the same crappy 10 digits numbers and now here it is 3 days later again and no show in the photo gallery and no explanation from e-bay.

I didn't think this little situation could get any more bizzare. What's going on over there man? I'ts like they've been taken over by aliens, maybe even just illegal aliens.

Quite a few I listed this week started out with 1200------etc. Wonder if that's the month, year and then then the hundred thousand number??? or was it listed somewhere and I missed it?
