Read the message from Ebay the free listing day actually stops at 12/21 midnight. The free listing day is tomorrow PST Until 11:59:59.
Just don't want anyone to get messed up
Since it is PST that would be 3 hours after midnight (correct ? ) for people in the East coast. Aren't we three hours behind?

Does anyone know if the free listing counts if you use Auction Watch to launch your auctions, or do you have to launch them directly from Ebay to get the free listing?
Not Dragonfyree on Ebay

Dragon: You can list through any service. As long as you list it on ebay, ebay will refund your fees.

Red_deer, could you request the Moderator to change the date within your subject line to reflect the correct date. Thanks for the heads-up.

If I am reading this correctly, the free listing day is for the 24 hour period on December 20th, starting at midnight tonight (20th) and ending 24 hours later at midnight tomorrow (21st). Is this right?
I don't think it is actually the 24 hour period of the actual December 21st.
Ebay's announcement certainly could have been worded a bit more clearly.

Hi reddeer
Unfortunately, when the AW PTB were handling out the Moderators' superpowers, they didn't give us the ability to change thread titles. Sorry Maybe you could edit your opening post and preface the AB quote with the correct date in caps & bold?
Michelle
*edited to ask: how long have you been reading our minds?

upriver ... 12 midnight tonight 12/20 until 12 midnight 12/21. That's definitely 24 hours. Remember that is Pacific time. Adjust for your time zone accordingly or you'll get charged.

Well, the free listing day is kind of moot right now, anyway. You can't get past the first page of the listing form.

No, it looks like they didn't charge me for a
second category. So I would have to say they
don't.

Remember as you are madly listing your free listings that a lot of these auctions will probably get shipped after the post office raises the rates. If you quote shipping costs in your auctions, it might be higher when you actually get to ship!

They could have stated it better. Is the instant of midnight for the day starting or the day ending? You have to look at the dates they assigned it from 20 to 21. It is the same old confusion about cardinal and ordinal numbers that leads to the confusion about
the date of the millenium.
