I have a Canada winner, and he paid USA shipping, he wants me to send it economy mail, with a confirmation number. My problem is, where do I get a confirmation number for outside of the US? Delivery confirmation is for US only isn't it? Should I write him and tell him that surface mail would be 1.10 more? Or should I just eat the cost? This is for a 11.00 item, so I hate to eat the cost for it, but he already paid through paypal too. I sure wished they would email me for shipping costs!
What ever you do, DO NOT MAIL THIS BUYER HIS ITEM until he pays the remaining shipping cost.
Email him and politely ask for the extra shipping cost to be paid to you via Paypal and tack on the extra .30 cents for a second payment into the shipping cost.
Has he given you an address to ship to yet? Maybe he has a PO box or a friend this side of the border, and then U.S. shipping (and delivery confirmation) would apply. However, if he wants you to ship it to Canada but only paid for U.S. shipping, don't you dare "eat" the shipping cost!! Email him stating international shipping is NOT the same as U.S. shipping, and you will await the additional $1.10. Also, let him know that delivery confirmation is not available for international shipments. Terrible that you will get charged for 2 PayPal transactions though because he shortchanged you.
