My name is Frits and I am new in this business. I am going to list low-price-items ($3-$5) suc as posters/cards/the like. I live in The Netherlands (Europe), where I sell occasionally on a real marketplace (these days in the freezing cold).
Anyway, my problem is ofcourse: Where must I list my items, on what auction(s) to get the most bidders?
I have taken some advice here and there. Lots of reply is more or less: finally, ebay sells best compared to other auctions, even if you take into account their heavy listing fees. Would you all agree with this?
I don’t think I can sell on Amazon, since it seems they exclude non-US-citizens.
I am waiting for your reply and thank you in advance.

This depends somewhat on what you plan on selling. To get an idea, you can take a look at these monthly statistics:
You can also do a keyword search for completed auctions of your sort of item on each of the sites you're considering, and see how many items are closing with bids and how high the closing bids actually are.
That should give you an idea of whether a site's fees are worth it to you.
