Just curious what happens next when the seller says he sent item and bidder never received it. Who is liable? Bidder or seller? No insurance/delivery confirmation used. Does seller refund monies or is bidder left out in the cold? Thanks.

The post office will do a search for lost mail, even if it wasn't insured. You should go to the PO and fill out the paperwork to initiate the search. Then if package still doesn't turn up you should refund.

By the way, how long has it been since you mailed the package. Once a bidder sent me his address and made a typo in the zip code.
It took 27 days to be delivered because 1 digit of zip code was wrong.

In this case, I am the bidder. As a seller, there was one occasion that bidder said item never arrived and I refunded money, but I wasn't sure what the standard procedure was when this sorta thing happens since it's seller's word against bidder's word. I am hoping that pkg will arrive today or Monday, but if it doesn't arrive by Monday, I will start getting worried.
