Well, I don't know if it is just me, my computer, my ISP, or what; but I find it nearly impossible to revise my auctions, without getting a `Cannot open internet site, connection with server was reset' error. This is really quite maddening, as it happens 98 times out of 100 trys. IS ANY one else having this problems??????????????

You might have too much info in your Cache, and the same cached info keeps coming up in your browser.....Have you tried clearing the Cache and History?

Yes, I've been having that problem too, a lot! I usually launch my auctions from AuctionWatch and the ones that don't sell the first time, I relist on the eBay auction page. If the item sells the 2nd. time and it was relisted from eBay, they are supposed to refund the listing fee. Just think of all the money they save when we have to relist from an outside auction service because the ebay relist feature is not working.

There's a simple solution to this, nanntique--that is, if I'm understanding your problem correctly. Once you get to the edit page of your listing and make the necessary changes, let the thing sit for a minute or so, get a cup of coffee or something, THEN click the button at the bottom of the page. Do the same thing when you reach the review changes page: let it sit before you go further. It works for me every time, and is far less maddening than clicking the damn thing dozens and dozens of times to get it to take.

I've had this problem for as long as I can remember. When I revise my listings now or re-list them through ebay, I now do it through Netscape instead of Internet Explorer. Doing it through Netscape works like a charm.

DOnt listen to all this advice..just use netscape! It will work everytime !!!
Unless Ebay is down of course!

I always use Explorer but whenever this happens I just switch to Netscape and it is fine..
This only happens when I am listing and it sucks. List with netscape and you will not have this problem. I also use Opera and it works great as well..

Have no idea why this is,,but explorer does it ofen to me.

Thanks everyone, for your feedback, and here I thought it was just little old me.

SHOSH -

Love your super ART POT on your `my' page. So you do repairs? Have you ever worked on any of the early Mulberry VB. I have a piece that I would love to have `made solid'.

Nanntique...Thanks

I have never worked on the type of piece you have. I believe it is a transfer, right? That is very complex work, and would cost a small fortune. Of course, it depends on how much damage it has. If you want to upload your pics (I need a close-up also) to AW, then send me the URL by Email (I NEVER open attachments...), I could look at it...

Yep, Netscape solved this problem for me long ago. Relisting auctions also requires that I use Netscape to avoid the connection reset messages. The other solution, if you don't have Netscape, is to use Explorer, but wait 2-3 minutes between listings. (I found waiting 3 minutes seems optimum.) But that's a pain, and I rarely do it, so I keep using Netscape to list and relist.
