Hello. We received a disturbing email this morning from a person on EBay who never sent payment to us. This was on approx 1/16 the transaction took place. I waited for ten days for payment to arrive (which it never did). So I follow the rules and apply to send out a non payer form and the person responds that he is sending out payment. So on 2/6, we contact the buyer again and receive no reply. So we wait until yesterday 2/9 and still no payment. So then we contact ebay to get a refund. All was okay. Then this morning we get a real nasty response from this buyer who says payment was sent well over a week ago! And is going to report us to Ebay fraud division! Can you believe this? Well over 1300 positives and a full time dealer and this happens. We bend over backwards waiting for payment and nothing. And we knew he was going to back out cause it was for Kerry Collins cards!!
How to you handle the nasty remarks?
Thank you

The best defense is a good offense. I would write to Safe Harbor and send them all the emails in question, and the dates of the auction's end, the NPBA filing and the FVF filing. Then ask them to please advise you as to how you should proceed.

After I did that, I would very nicely respond to the bidder's nasty email either by just thanking him/her for their email, or thanking him/her and alerting them that you've forwarded all correspondence to Safe Harbor.

There's really no need to tolerate a bully. Have you ever noticed that deadbeats are always the nastiest? Hmmm...
