How can all you people sit there and openly say mean things about all these nice auction watch guys. I think they are really neat people.
Just because they want to earn a few dollars so they too can put food on the table to feed their little childen. 5 cents and 1% of your earnings is not that much money. How many of you give part of your income to churches and other organizations? hu??
It is only fair and right that you give the owners of this company some of your money too. They are only trying to help YOU! You ebay sellers get to eat, so why shouldn\'t the owners of this site be able to feed their families too.

"How can all you people sit there and openly say mean things about all these nice auction watch guys."
The meaner they get, the easier it gets.
"Just because they want to earn a few dollars so they too can put food on the table to feed their little childen"
To paraphrase Marie Antoinette's non-quote: Let the children eat at the catered dinners, etc., etc.
"5 cents and 1% of your earnings is not that much money"
It isn't? How do you know how much it is to me? (And if it's nothing to you, I'll send you my RL address.)
"How many of you give part of your income to churches and other organizations?"
Even Mark would not equate himself with God, nor AW with a church.
"It is only fair and right that you give the owners of this company some of your money too"
Although I may very well have missed some posts, I haven't heard anyone say they were opposed to paying a reasonable (as compared to other similar services) fee for AW's service.
"They are only trying to help YOU!"
The United Fund tries to help others; businesses try to help themselves.
"You ebay sellers get to eat"
Do you know this for a fact? The grocery budget is mighty slim around here from time to time.
"Shame on all you greedy sellers."
Sigh.
Can we all assume your entire post was tongue-in-cheek?

Turn the other cheek. They have their reasons for needed your money. It is not up to us mere mortals to question the motives of those more knowing.
Please do send me your real life address, I am only too happy to to give to the less fortunate. If you really do need money, I will send you some, really. I also give to the Republicans because I want to always want to help the less fortunate.

Funny...I thought this thread would be locked by now...it does address the AW fee structure, etc., and probably should have been posted to the original AW fee thread.
Is it not locked because it is basically positive toward the fee structure??

You've just reminded me to make sure to mail off a "thank you" card to the United States Treasury for accepting so much of my hard-earned money this year. I appreciate them giving me the opportunity to share.

I dont think people are being mean at all.
Auction watch is asking for fees for there service Fine I dont mind.
Thing is they want a fees from me to launch an auction even if it dont sell.
If my auction ends with out a sales Where does the Nickle come from ???? If you say from my pocket then how do you suggest my kids eat when I give food $$$ to AW for unsold auction listing and FVF of 1% for them that do.
Most online auction managers get paid only for the listing when it sells who will pay endless nickles to AW for No sale Items.
