Checked the feedback on one seller before I bid. I clicked on 2 recent auctions ( within the last 20 days) which were adjacent to the buyer's praise. It came up as "No longer in data base" Thought these auctions remained for longer than that. Does anyone have an explanation?

I'm not positive about this, but I think that if eBay cancels your auction, it does not remain on the database. Maybe someone else can tell you more.

The feedback might have been left within the past 20 days but that does not mean the auctions ended within the past 20 days. The auction could have ended up to 60 days ago, or more.

I guess Executive Girl"s answer is the reasonable explanation. Seems a long time to wait to give feedback though.
