Sometimes I get the impression from this forum that most of you sellers think we buyers are bozos. And if I knew it was one of your auctions, I probably wouldn't bid.
But I have had nothing but good experiences from the 60+ sellers from whom I have bought. I've had problems with the merchandise four times (all were used clothing that was either mis-sized or badly stained and listed as very good condition). In each case, I have advised the seller by email, and in each case a satisfactory settlement was made. I left positive feedback in 3, neutral in 1.
Just wanted to thank all of you who give such professional service and keep me coming back!

Because the clothing was so clearly permanently stained and damaged, that it should never have been listed as good condition.
I think that most of the sellers that take the time to post their comments here have very good buyers most of the time. But when they have a problem this is one of the first areas they go seeking a solution or ideas.
So you may see all the troubles and all the "vents" and think it is all one sided.
It is not like we all run over here each time we have a good sale.
So you do see lots of "bozo buyer" threads but that is not the normal customer transaction by any means.
Most buyers and sellers on the internet are a pretty good bunch of people. Otherwise everyone would quit this tomorrow.

I am primarily a seller. In the past 2 years I have sold over 800 items and have 400+ feedbacks (all positive). Selling on ebay has kind of restored my confidence in the human race. 99.99% of my customers have been extremely nice. I can think of only 2 who were difficult, but we worked it out OK. The public is much better than one would think if he only watched CNN to decide.

I agree wholeheartedly!! I buy lots and sell some and have had very few bad transactions in either direction. I've even had great experiences with sellers I haven't bought from! In fact I asked someone to look something up in a manual that was sold to someone else if they hadn't packed it up yet - and they did, e-mailed me 4 times and offered to scan the page as well! Talk about service...

I, too, am mostly a buyer, and I have had GREAT experiences in purchasing things on eBay for the most part. There have been a few sellers who did not fully disclose the condition of the item, and only once or twice out of over 100 buys was I disappointed in what I got. What more than makes up for that are the wonderful sellers who bend over backwards to please their buyers--of course, it helps to be a considerate buyer in the first place so the sellers will WANT to be nice to you!
