Just kidding, but after selling for over two years I got my first whacko buyer right after reading your thread. I am now dealing with CYBIL.
Buyer wins auction for a total of $49.50. She sends a paypal payment a few days later of $34.50. I thank her for her payment and explain to her that she needs to send an additional $15.00 before I can send the item. No response.
I email her again asking for her address and repeating my request for the additional $15.00. She responds with her address (now I know she is receiving my emails) but makes no mention of the $15.00.
I email her again asking for the payment. This time she responds she will send it via paypal tomorrow (I forgot to mention that by this time she has emailed me four time asking for my address, which she already has). I figure OK, it's almost over......
The next day I receive a notice from Paypal that her original echeck payment of $34.50 did not clear. I email her and ask her what is going on. She responds that due to personal reasons she no longer uses paypal but she will send me the entire $49.50 using Pidpay (her spelling).
OK, now it gets good. Two days later she emails me wanting to know if her item was shipped yet. She stated that she paid with paypal a few days ago and just wants to check if the item was shipped. At this point I wanted to reach through the computer and choke Cybil.
I email her back and go over the entire scenario once again. Later that day I receive an email from her stating "Don't worry you're not being a pain". I will send you a money order via EM (I guess that means express mail) tomorrow". I absolutely loved the part about ME not being a pain.
About 10 minutes later she sends me an email asking for my address ONCE AGAIN!!!!
I guess I should be happy that no mention has been made of her small wrists and big breasts at this point but I have the feeling that this episode is far from over.

Hiya Brooklynguy! You really scared me with your thread title, BTW! LOL!
Anyways, regarding CYBIL, I can definitely say I've "been there, done that"! Another good reason NOT to take Paypal! (I used to get less-than-full payments all the time and it was NOT easy getting them to pay the rest sometimes!) My guess is you will never see payment from this lady - but that's just a guess from my past experiences. Hopefully you will luck out, get payment from her, and never hear from her again!
So sorry to hear this is happening to you.... I sure hope it wasn't because you had read my thread! Now that I think about it, maybe it is one of my customer's multiple personalities! Is she from Florida by any chance??? LOL!
Best of luck to you - let us know how this one turns out! (And if it doesn't, it's NOT MY FAULT!)
Oh, and will you send her your address so she can mail you a payment??? LOL

Last week I received an e-mail from an auction winner asking if I had sent him an end-of-auction e-mail. I had (a week earlier) and responded, attaching the e-mail.
A couple of hours later, I received another e-mail from him asking if he had sent payment. I responded that I had not received payment, but I had no way of knowing whether he sent it.

I am presently dealing with someone who insisted she sent a MO but she didn't even have my address yet. She hadn't given me hers so I was not able to quote her a shipping rate.
Then she insisted that she sent a check but she still didn't have my address.
Then she said she paid through Billpoint and gave me a phony Billpoint Ref.#.
I filed a NPBA and she said she really wants the item and asked for my address and says that she has sent payment.

I think I have become one of the wacko buyers! I actually bid on an auction at yahoo and put in $ 1.50. but I did a proxy bid for $ 2.50 or so I thought ( on medication due to an accident~ ) and then I saw $ 250.00 !
O.k I though no one is going to bid more than $ 5.00 . LOL ~ next day I check~ $ 20.50 . I quickly tried to cancel my bid and I was going to rebid ~ can't do that for any reason on yahoo so I write to the seller ~ no response. Now I get a letter ~ $ 20.50 + needs to know my address~ I think I will pretend to be from florida! lol
Na~ I will just pay up and watch my proxy bidding from now on and forget yahoo~ what was I thinking of!!!! Suzanne

I have noticed a couple of odd things about Yahoo! If you place a proxy bid, you almost always have several "brand new" or very low FB bidders come right in behind you. Like they are waiting and watching.....
The second odd thing about Yahoo...not much sniping!!! If you don't have bids by the last 4 hours, you can stop watching!
Okay, back to our regularly scheduled The eBay Outlook!
