Sorry for asking a stupid question, but I've not been selling for quite awhile and haven't been paying enough attention. Will I still have to pay some sort of fee just to use AuctionWatch for hosting my pictures?

YUP! starting on the 14 th of this month tommorow they are starting to charge .05 per pic hosted here and not only that they think the deserve a cut of our profits.they are going to charge 1% fvf hahahahahahaha i know its not funny.
we just finished deleting all our hosted pics here.
we may view the chat boards once in a while but dont planning on hanging around here very much anymore
i wish all those that hang around the best of luck!

I think your reply is incorrect. As far as I understand it, it's 5c per auction launched, 1% of the final sale, and $200 if you want to use their image hosting service (irregardless of whether it's 1 pix or 1000) Please correct me if I'm wrong, but that's the way I understood it.

Not quite correct joycel, If you use AW for launching your auction with pics, it's .5¢ plus 1% FVF. If you use copy and paste for your image, then it's .5¢ plus $200 up front, but no 1% FVF.

The way I understand it, if you are launching your auctions from here, you can still host your pictures here, regardless of which plan you go with. You don't have to join the power seller plan to host pictures.
You are charged .05 per auction plus 1% FVF. You are not charged per picture. No where does it say that.
I think alot of us, those who believe we should pay our way for services we receive, will all be hanging around.

But--a penny saved is a penny earned, and as long as there's a free service out there that offers comparible services, I'm outta here. Just finished moving all of my pix over to a new site.
I think that's part of AW's problem right now--it's not real clear what they're charging, and according to another thread, I hear they are considering changes to that $200 fee now.
I still like free better.
