I had a buyer say they were going ot Paypal me (even though I have NO PAYPAL in red on all my auctions). I say I accept money orders and billpoint from Canada, and go ahead and send a Billpoint invoice. So then, I receive an e-mail back saying that they are charged $5 to pay by Billpoint because they live in Canada. Then I get an e=mail back saying they are charged $10 to pay by Billpoint because they live in Canada. I've never heard this before, and think they are trying to get me to join paypal because of the referral fee. I do not accept paypal, but my question is, does Billpoint REALLY charge $5 or $10 per transaction?

I've never used Billpoint to purchase anything, but to the best of my knowledge the only one who is charged any fees for non US transactions, is the seller.

Sounds like they are getting confused with Bidpay - I don't think they actually went into the Billpoint site as they were getting their on-line payment services mixed up.
I'm Canadian and just recently used Billpoint to pay for an auction - for no cost.
Alternatively, they may also be trying to pressure you to sign up for Paypal - don't let them!
