I have been doing a lot of research today and I have noticed images and counters by Honesty are not down loading. They start and then they freeze. Could be a problem for Honesty users.

I've tried for hours to access my Honesty counters, to no avail, I can't get connected to Honesty.

I lurk on their discussion boards, which were scheduled to move today (or last night or sometime) to "new" boards with new functionality. They said it'd take 2 minutes of downtime when they actually did it but in the meantime today started directing people to the new location. However, I couldn't get there this afternoon. Just tried again and EVERYTHING seems broken. I can't get anywhere, not the new boards, not the old boards, not anywhere.
Non-techie that I am, I don't if this has anything to do with the other, or how the one is affecting the other, but thought I'd toss it into the mix and see if some techie around here can shed some light.

Having problems here as well w/ honesty. Have been since this afternoon. Can't get to MANAGE IMAGES page. VERY frusturing as I wanted to get some auctions listed tonight! GRRRRRRR Better start working SOON!

Does anyone know of a good, FREE, counter system outside of Honesty? I have used Honestly for a LONG time, but I am getting sick and tired of their endless crashes of recent. I am looking for another reliable, FREE, hidden number counter service, any ideas????

No Honesty counters on my auctions either!
How about some suggestions for an alternate counter ?? They seem to be down lots ;( !!

The bad part about the counters not working is that the auction pages load very slowthus you loose customers.
I've quit using counters for this very reason.

Nice counters at www.vrane.com. I use the hidden counter. Love the quickness of the status page--get updated hits and bids with every refresh.

I don't know if it's the counters or what, but their auctions are loading very slowly for me. I'm in a buying mood and it seems that every auction that loads slowly is using honesty services. I've just backed out of dozens of auctions because I'm too impatient to wait for everything to load. Geez.
By the way, I was in the jewelry (estate stuff) and women's clothing sections. If any of you sellers in these categories are out there and using honesty counters - I didn't see your auctions. Therefore I can't buy!!!

Barbarake, that means you may have missed some of my women's clothing auctions! DANG! I *finallY* was able to get some new auctiosn listed, but still having some problems. Hope it's fixed SOON!

Fortunately I only use Honesty counters, which I haven't been able to access today at all, and still can't - can't imagine the loss if someone is using other Honesty services.
I use hidden counters to tell me what amount of action a given auction is receiving - often I can tell by the amount of hits whether an auction needs moving, or a title needs changing.

Well I made the change - I can't wait till Honesty decides to come back on line - I moved to www.vrane.com and think I'll like it there - had to have an alternative to Honesty Counters.
I can't imagine what has happened to Honesty, they use to be so totally dependable.
